A Heart Opening Plant Medicine Experience
A Choco Bliss Journey ceremony is a unique opportunity to embark on a deep inner journey. It’s a gentle but powerful experience that can support your life in meaningful ways. Many people find that it helps them gain clarity, awaken new insights, heal old wounds, and reconnect with themselves on a deeper level.
What's in the Chocolate?
Choco Bliss is a special plant medicine chocolate that carries the spirit of mother Ayahuasca. It’s from raw ceremonial cacao, which gently opens your heart, a vine from the Amazon called Banisteriopsis caapi, and a mix of healing herbs and plant allies.
The chocolate also contains psilocybin, the natural compound found in truffles and mushrooms, traditionally used in plant medicine ceremonies. Everything is blended in a way that keeps the experience gentle, safe, and supportive.
Inner Work
A Choco Bliss Journey encourages inner work in an accessible way. It helps you re-evaluate past experiences and brings up emotions or memories that have been tucked away, allowing them to be processed and integrated. Many participants describe the chocolate as a magical medicine for the soul, gentle but deeply transformative, helping them reconnect with their heart and inner truth.
A Deep Dive Into Yourself
Unlike more intense plant medicine experiences, the Choco Journey is generally more gentle. How deep the experience goes depends on the dose you take. You can start with a little and, if you feel called, take a bit more later. You are guided throughout, giving you the space to explore your inner world, gain clarity, and uncover personal insights in a safe and intentional setting.
Preparation for Your Choco Bliss Journey
Preparing for a Choco Bliss Journey is an important part of the experience. It helps you show up with clarity, openness, and presence, so you can make the most of the inner journey ahead.
Start at least 14 days before the ceremony by avoiding alcohol, soft drugs, and hard drugs.
Certain medications are not allowed during the ceremony. This includes painkillers, blood pressure medication, antidepressants, and other similar substances. Combining these with plant medicine — including substances that act as MAO inhibitors — can be dangerous or even life-threatening. Please follow these guidelines carefully.
In the last few days before the ceremony, try to slow down and give yourself space to be mindful:
- Take rest whenever possible
- Reduce stimuli (busy schedules, excessive screen time)
- Be aware of how you feel physically and emotionally
Five days before the ceremony:
- Avoid caffeine and other stimulants
- Avoid foods such as meat, fish, dairy, soy, and banana
These foods are high in tyramine and can cause side effects such as headaches, nausea, or increased blood pressure when combined with plant medicine. Caffeine is discouraged because of its stimulating effects.
Taking these steps will help your body and mind be fully present, so you can get the most out of your Choco Bliss Journey. I’ve also created a handy guide with all the do’s and don’ts for preparation, which I will with share with anyone planning to join the journey.
The Day of the Ceremony
On the day of the ceremony, it’s best to eat light and nourishing meals. Heavy or rich food can take energy away from your inner experience. Stop eating about 3 hours before the ceremony, though drinking water or herbal tea is fine.
Wear comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and take a few quiet moments to set your intention. Think about what you want to explore, release, or understand during the journey. Even a short period of gentle breathing, meditation, or journaling can help you arrive fully present.
Take some quiet time beforehand to reflect on what is going on inside you. Perhaps there is something you want to explore, something you may wish to let go of, or something you want to understand more clearly. It doesn’t have to be anything big. At the beginning of the ceremony, we’ll take a moment together to talk about this, if you feel comfortable sharing.
During The Ceremony
Throughout the entire journey, I ensure a safe and peaceful setting in which you can relax. I give you as much space as possible to follow your own inner process, in your own way and at your own pace. Of course, I am always present and nearby, so you can feel supported and safe.
You are free to turn inward and notice what is happening within you. There will be music playing to support your journey and help you sink deeper. Everything that arises is okay: emotions, thoughts, images, silence, or perhaps a sense of calm. There is no right or wrong. You don’t need to control or force anything. You are simply allowed to be and to experience whatever presents itself in that moment.
Aftercare & Integration
After your Choco Bliss Journey, there is the opportunity to reflect and integrate what came up during the session. This gives you space to share your experience and start making sense of any insights, emotions, or memories that surfaced.
It’s important to give yourself time and space to integrate what came up. This isn’t something that ends the moment the ceremony does. The insights, emotions, and memories can continue to unfold over the next hours or days. Rest, walk in nature, journal, or simply reflect on what you experienced. Some people like to share their experience with a friend, while others prefer quiet time alone.
Integration is about bringing the lessons and insights into your everyday life. This could mean noticing patterns, making small changes, or simply staying aware of your emotions and reactions. Gentle self-care, healthy meals, hydration, and rest all support this process.
Remember, every journey is unique. Some insights come immediately, others take time to reveal themselves. Trust your process and allow your heart and mind to gently make sense of what surfaced.
We also stay in contact after the ceremony. If questions arise or you want to discuss your experience further, you can always reach out. Additionally, we’ll schedule a follow-up call about a week after your journey. This gives you the opportunity to share any reflections and receive support as you continue integrating the experience. I’m here to support you.
